Super Lunch

I've been enjoying a new audiobook, titled Superlife: The 5 Forces That Will Make You Healthy, Fit, and Eternally Awesome. So far, I have learned about the benefits of not only diversifying the foods I eat, but also the way in which I consume them. Raw vs. steamed vs. roasted vegetables, all provide our bodies with different nutrients.

The last two weeks I have made an effort to consume more raw fruits and vegetables, and tried to limit processed foods. So for lunch today I had raw organic vegetables and homemade hummus.

The recipe for the hummus came from my Pampered Chef Deluxe Cooking Blender recipe book. I'm excited to try to create more homemade sauces and salsas to go with my raw fruits and vegetables.
